Formula 1 and DHL, the global logistics leader, solidify their 20-year collaboration with an expansive multi-year renewal, reaffirming DHL’s status as the longest-standing Global Partner of F1.
Formula 1 and DHL have announced a significant extension to their enduring partnership, establishing DHL as the longest-standing Global Partner of F1. The multi-year commitment underscores the remarkable growth F1 has witnessed in recent years, with DHL continuing to serve as the Official Logistics Partner for Grands Prix and F1 Events worldwide.
The renewed partnership emphasises Formula 1’s dedication to achieving its Net Zero 2030 target, with DHL collaborating on innovative solutions to enhance sustainability in logistics operations. Notably, DHL’s involvement has led to an average reduction of logistics-related emissions by 83 percent during the European leg of the 2023 season, thanks to the use of biofuel-powered trucks. In 2024, the fleet will expand to 37 trucks, and DHL has adopted more fuel-efficient Boeing 777 planes, reducing carbon emissions by 17 percent.
For select European races in 2024, DHL will introduce a new motorhome equipped with solar panels, charging, and recycling stations to further decrease carbon emissions. This initiative aligns with the shared commitment of Formula 1 and DHL to sustainability goals and signifies a step towards greener logistics practices.
The partnership looks forward to continued positive innovations as they collectively work towards a more sustainable future.
