Etihad Cargo has inked a three-year strategic partnership deal with Worldwide Flight Services (WFS), entrusting WFS with cargo handling services at 12 major international airports.
Enhancing its global cargo operations, Etihad Cargo has solidified its longstanding partnership with Worldwide Flight Services (WFS). Covering 12 key international airports, the three-year agreement will see WFS, a SATS Group subsidiary, managing over 150,000 tonnes of cargo annually for Etihad.
The covered airports include major hubs in the EMEAA region, such as Amsterdam, Bangkok, Barcelona, Bengaluru, Copenhagen, Frankfurt, London Heathrow, Madrid, and Paris CDG. Additionally, in North America, WFS will handle Etihad’s cargo in New York JFK and Washington Dulles, along with newly added responsibilities for Boston and Chicago.
This extension marks a continued collaboration between Etihad Cargo and WFS since their initial cargo handling agreement in Frankfurt in 2005. The agreement underscores WFS’s ability to provide comprehensive global network solutions for strategic customers.
