Addressing the 52nd Tripura Statehood Day at Rabindra Satabarshiki Bhavan, Agartala, Tripura Chief Minister Manik Saha highlighted advancements in Janajati welfare, connectivity, infrastructure, health, education, and agriculture.
Acknowledging PM Modi’s influence, Saha commended the progress in India, citing the initiation of the long-awaited Ram Mandir and temple cleaning initiatives. The Proti Ghore Sushasan program aligns with PM Modi’s vision, emphasising facilities for all. Saha underlined Tripura’s aspiration to become a multinational trade and logistics hub through projects like the Agartala-Akhaura rail link and Maitri Bridge, fostering connectivity with Southeast Asia.
Since 2018, the state has witnessed development across various sectors, including infrastructure, communication, public welfare, health, education, industry, sports, agriculture, and culture. Emphasising the role of law and order for peace, CM Saha called for collaborative efforts between the administration and the people to ensure harmony and sustained progress.
