India and US review progress on proposed BTA.

United States Trade Representative Ambassador Jamieson Greer visited New Delhi for discussions on the proposed India-US Bilateral Trade Agreement. During the visit, Ambassador Greer met Union Commerce and Industry Minister Shri Piyush Goyal, with both sides reviewing progress in the ongoing negotiations and discussing pathways for an interim agreement under the broader trade pact framework.
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry said the discussions were held in a constructive spirit and focused on advancing a fair, balanced and mutually beneficial agreement. The visit forms part of the continuing engagement between India and the United States on bilateral trade issues and follows earlier rounds of discussions between officials from both countries.
