Captain B.V.J.K. Sharma, Chief Executive Officer of Navi Mumbai International Airport, was felicitated at the BCBA Logistics Conclave 2026, organised by the Brihanmumbai Custom Brokers Association at the Taj Mahal Palace, Mumbai.
The Token of Gratitude was presented by Yogendra Garg, Special Secretary, Government of India, Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs, along with Sanjeev T Harale, President of BCBA, Paresh K Thakkar, Senior Vice President of BCBA, and Dushyant Mulani, Immediate Past Chairman of FFFAI, on behalf of the members and managing committee of BCBA.
The felicitation recognised Captain Sharma’s contribution to India’s aviation and logistics infrastructure and his leadership in the development of Navi Mumbai International Airport, a project expected to enhance cargo and passenger connectivity for the Mumbai Metropolitan Region and the country at large. BCBA described Captain Sharma as a visionary leader whose commitment had been instrumental in shaping a landmark project poised to redefine connectivity and catalyse economic growth. Captain Sharma continues to lead the development of the greenfield airport project as its Chief Executive Officer.
