Terra Charge launches its first EV charging hub at Raja Bhoj Airport, Bhopal, enhancing regional EV accessibility.
Terra Charge, in collaboration with the Airports Authority of India (AAI), inaugurated its first electric vehicle (EV) charging hub at Raja Bhoj International Airport. Spanning 75 square meters, the facility supports simultaneous charging for four vehicles and features both a Japanese slow charger and a 30 kW fast charger to meet diverse user needs.
The inauguration, held in the airport’s parking area, was attended by Terra Charge officials and AAI representatives, including Airport Director Ramjee Awasthi. Apurba Das Mohapatra, Business Director of Terra Charge, expressed pride in partnering with AAI, highlighting the shared commitment to sustainable infrastructure. He emphasised that the hub is a step towards encouraging EV adoption in Bhopal and acknowledged key stakeholders for facilitating the project.
Accessible via the Terra Charge Mobile App, the hub marks a significant milestone in the company’s efforts to expand India’s charging infrastructure, targeting the nation’s growing EV market projected at USD 23.38 billion in 2024.
