Seven flyovers mark a milestone in Maharashtra’s infrastructure journey, says CM Fadnavis.
Maharashtra took a significant step in its infrastructure development with the inauguration of seven new flyovers by Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis. Constructed by Maharail, these projects were unveiled at an event held at Dr. Punjabrao Deshmukh Agricultural College Sports Ground in Nagpur.
Fadnavis emphasised that the state’s infrastructure strides extend far beyond flyovers, encompassing metro projects, national highways, airport upgrades, and port developments. He acknowledged Union Minister Nitin Gadkari’s pivotal role in spearheading transformative projects across the state.
The Maharail initiative has become a benchmark for its speed and quality, with plans underway to complete 200 more railway flyovers and underground routes in the coming years.
Dignitaries such as Finance Minister Ashish Jaiswal, Legislative Council member Kripal Tumane, and MLA Krishna Khopde attended the event, while other leaders joined via video conferencing, showcasing a unified commitment to Maharashtra’s growth trajectory.
