DTDC launches its first Colombo store, enhancing trade connectivity, supply chain efficiency, and e-commerce growth in Sri Lanka.
DTDC Express has expanded its South Asian presence with the launch of its first store in Colombo, Sri Lanka, in partnership with Parcel Lanka as its authorised franchisee. This marks a significant step in DTDC’s regional growth strategy, adding to its footprint across India, Australia, the UAE, Canada, the US, Malaysia, and the UK.
The new Colombo hub offers diverse services, including domestic and international courier solutions, MSME and e-commerce logistics, and bulk shipping. DTDC also plans to introduce advanced technology such as AI-powered tracking, automated parcel sorting, and self-service kiosks to streamline operations.
Sri Lanka’s strategic location along key trade routes makes it a vital logistics hub. DTDC’s expansion aims to support the nation’s rising e-commerce sector and strengthen supply chains, fostering smoother cross-border trade and empowering businesses across South Asia.
