Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated multiple infrastructure projects worth Rs 6,100 crore in Warangal, Telangana, while acknowledging the state’s significant historical role. The projects include the establishment of a Railway Manufacturing Unit and the upgrading of the Karimnagar-Warangal section of NH-563.
During a public meeting, Union Road and Transportation Minister Nitin Gadkari expressed satisfaction that the road infrastructure, under the leadership of the Prime Minister, will enhance connectivity for industries, trade, and employment opportunities. Gadkari highlighted PM Modi’s prioritisation of infrastructure development, stating that Telangana has witnessed infrastructure projects worth Rs 1.10 lakh crore, either completed, ongoing, or initiated.
Emphasising the importance of robust road infrastructure, Gadkari quoted former US President John F. Kennedy, who noted that good roads contribute to a prosperous economy. PM Modi commended Telangana’s contributions to India’s history and emphasised the state’s immense potential for growth and investment. He encouraged the nation to seize the present golden period of development and ensure all regions progress together. The event witnessed enthusiastic slogans of “Bharat Maata ki Jai” and “Vande Mataram” as the Prime Minister addressed the rally.
