Houthi officials say missile and drone strikes could resume imminently after ceasefire pauses end.

Iran-backed Houthis are preparing to resume missile and drone attacks on key shipping routes and on Israel, senior rebel officials said, signalling renewed instability across vital maritime corridors.
According to two senior Houthi officials, speaking on condition of anonymity due to the absence of a formal announcement, the first strike could take place as early as “tonight,” i.e., 01 Mar. The renewed attacks are described as being carried out in support of Iran.
The Houthis had earlier halted attacks on commercial vessels transiting the Red Sea under an understanding reached with the Trump administration, which also led to a pause in US military strikes against the group.
Separately, the rebels had stopped targeting Israel following an October ceasefire that brought a halt to major fighting in Gaza.
Any resumption of attacks could once again disrupt one of the world’s most critical shipping lanes, raising fresh concerns for global trade, energy supplies and regional security as tensions in the Middle East escalate.
