Partnership aims to provide logistics software training and placement support.
Softlink Academy, the skilling initiative of Softlink Global Limited, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with M.V. Mandali’s Colleges of Commerce and Science to provide specialised software training to students. The collaboration aims to complement academic education with practical exposure to enterprise software used in logistics and freight forwarding operations.
Under the agreement, M.V. Mandali’s Colleges of Commerce and Science will manage student enrolment, marketing and training sessions, appoint trainers and issue certificates to students who successfully complete the programme. Softlink Academy will provide faculty training, curriculum and study materials and license its proprietary software for training purposes.
The initiative will also provide placement support through Softlink Academy’s network of commercial licensing partners. The programme is intended to help students develop practical skills relevant to logistics and supply chain careers while giving them exposure to technology used in freight forwarding operations.
Ganesh Kanchan, President, Mogaveera Vyavasthapaka Mandali, said the partnership would help students complement academic knowledge with practical, industry-recognised skills. Amit Maheshwari, Founder and CEO, Softlink Global, said the Academy initiative is aimed at addressing the skills gap in freight forwarding by providing students with software exposure and placement support.
