CargoNXT Recognitions 2026- North India Edition throws a spotlight on the companies, professionals and pioneers who are strengthening India’s logistics and supply chain ecosystem, honouring the resilience, innovation and leadership powering the country’s trade infrastructure toward a future-ready tomorrow.
CargoNXT successfully hosted the CargoNXT Recognitions Ceremony 2026- North India Edition at Radisson Blu Plaza, New Delhi Airport, celebrating outstanding organisations and individuals who are shaping India’s logistics and supply chain ecosystem. The ceremony was held alongside the CargoNXT Logistics & SCM Summit 2026, themed “Resilient India: Empowering Trade Through Connected Logistics & Supply Chain.”
The evening united an illustrious gathering of industry stalwarts, policymakers, bold innovators and seasoned professionals from every corner of the logistics value chain, creating a powerful platform that celebrated outstanding performance, groundbreaking innovation, sustainable leadership and decades of dedicated contribution to logistics.
The ceremony was formally inaugurated with a ceremonial ribbon cutting by Chief Guest Lieutenant General Manoj Kumar Mago, AVSM, YSM, SM (Retired), Senior Advisor, BRICS Chamber of Commerce and Advisor, Ministry of Skill Development; Guest of Honour Dr. Waiel Awwad, Secretary General, India and Arab Countries Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture; and Guest of Honour Luis Castro, Presenter and Producer, Cartas sobre la Mesa; along with Dr. Vandana Singh, Chairperson, Aviation Cargo, Federation of Aviation Industry in India (FAII); Shri Rajesh Menon, Associate Director, DPIIT- Logistics Division, Ministry of Commerce & Industry; and Jatin Sahni and Yogita Bhurani, Co-Founders, CargoNXT, marking the official commencement of the recognitions.

The evening culminated in a defining moment as the spotlight turned to the icons, rising talent and legends whose contributions have left a lasting mark on the fabric of Indian logistics.
Gautham Raju- Young Cargo Professional of the Year
Gautham Raju leads as Head of Air Freight for the Indian Subcontinent at Flexport, covering India, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Pakistan. He built an Air Import Product Team from scratch, scaling volumes from 30 tonnes to over 500 tonnes a month in just 14 to 15 months. He led a Hydro Air Freight Import Project moving over 700 tonnes of equipment from Italy and Spain to South India in three months, and holds deep expertise in cold chain logistics for pharmaceuticals and perishables.
Manish Malik- Logistics Icon of the Decade
Manish Malik brings over 25 years of experience across global logistics, supply chain management and business development. In 2023, he co-founded EVO Supply Chain, growing it from its Gurugram headquarters into a six-office pan-India network spanning Gurugram, Ahmedabad, Gandhidham, Mumbai, Bengaluru and Chennai, delivering freight forwarding, project logistics, warehousing and integrated supply chain services. In 2026, EVO was acquired by Logistics Plus, USA, a global logistics organisation operating across 55 countries.
Dr. Vandana Singh- Aviation Cargo Leadership Excellence
Dr. Vandana Singh brings over 30 years of expertise in air cargo strategy and key account leadership, with senior roles at Lufthansa Cargo, Saudia Cargo and KLM Royal Dutch Airlines. At Lufthansa Cargo, she led Global Key Account Management for Asia Pacific. At Saudia Cargo, she helped shape the historic global agreement with Skyways. Today, as Chairperson of Aviation Cargo at FAII, she drives policy and innovation across India’s aviation logistics sector. A TEDx speaker, she has been honoured with Logistics Visionary of the Year and Cargo Woman of the Year from CargoNXT, among several other national and international awards.
Ramesh Mamidala- Logistics Visionary of the Year
Ramesh Mamidala is an engineer with a master’s in transport planning and an MBA from Bradford University. Over more than 30 years in logistics, two and a half decades of it in air cargo, he has held leadership roles across Emirates Group, Qatar Airways, Celebi Cargo and Adani Airports Holdings, before joining Air India as Head Cargo. At Celebi, Delhi airport’s cargo volumes crossed 1 million tonnes annually under his watch. He is now working to reshape Air India’s cargo structure as the airline scales up its freighter fleet.
Capt. BVJK Sharma- Logistics Legend – Hall of Fame
Capt. BVJK Sharma is a Master Mariner who built his career across three decades in shipping, ports and aviation infrastructure. He served as Vice President at Adani Ports, then spent sixteen years as Joint Managing Director and CEO of JSW Infrastructure, before leading Mumbai International Airport. He now steers Navi Mumbai International Airport, one of India’s most significant greenfield airport projects.
