Prozo has opened a new 30,000 square feet fulfilment centre in Kolkata, bringing its total in the city to three facilities and strengthening its eastern India supply chain network.
Prozo, described as India’s fastest-growing full-stack supply chain company, has launched a new 30,000 square feet fulfilment centre at Prospace Logistics Park, Serampore, West Bengal, bringing its total number of fulfilment centres in Kolkata to three. The facility benefits from connectivity to Kolkata Port, NH-16, NH-19 and the Dankuni logistics hub, and is positioned to support distribution across West Bengal, Bihar, Jharkhand, Odisha and the north-eastern states. The site is designed to support categories including fast-moving consumer goods, fashion and lifestyle, beauty and personal care, healthcare and consumer electronics, and will operate on Prozo’s proprietary Control Tower technology stack, enabling real-time inventory visibility, multi-channel order orchestration and end-to-end operational monitoring.
Ashvini Jakhar, Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Prozo, said the investment in Kolkata was part of the company’s long-term strategy to build fulfilment capacity in locations that were becoming increasingly important for commerce and consumption, and that the new facility would strengthen its ability to help customers reduce delivery timelines, improve inventory availability and scale efficiently across eastern India.
