Muthumaruthachalam C to lead DICV Operations & Logistics starting August 15, 2024.
Daimler India Commercial Vehicles (DICV), a subsidiary of Daimler Truck AG, has named Muthumaruthachalam C as President and Chief of Operations & Logistics, effective August 15, 2024. Muthumaruthachalam will take over from Anshum Jain, who left the company in April 2024.
Since joining DICV in 2009, Muthumaruthachalam has been instrumental in the company’s growth, initially serving as a specialist in heavy-duty truck project management. He was pivotal in launching BharatBenz products in 2012 and later advanced to a leadership role in quality management, focusing on warranty analysis and product reliability for BharatBenz trucks.
In 2015, he transitioned to Mitsubishi Fuso Truck and Bus Corporation (MFTBC), where he managed global product reliability and warranty for FUSO Trucks and Buses. Muthumaruthachalam returned to DICV in March 2020 as Head of Supply Chain Management & Logistics and, since March 2023, has led the ‘Procurement & Supply Chain Management’ organisation as President and Chief Supply Chain Officer.
In his new role, Muthumaruthachalam will join DICV’s core leadership team and report to Arya. He will oversee Operations & Logistics, Manufacturing Engineering, and Truck Operating System departments, focusing on seamless operational workflows, enhanced manufacturing processes, and efficient truck operating systems.
