RVNL partners with GBHIC to explore civil infrastructure opportunities across GCC nations.
Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with GBH International Contracting LLC (GBHIC), based in Dubai, to collaborate on civil infrastructure projects in the GCC countries.
Key updates:
- Collaboration Focus: The MoU aims to explore business opportunities in civil infrastructure within the GCC region.
- Previous Partnership: RVNL also signed an MoU with Visakhapatnam Port Authority (VPA) for constructing internal flyovers to improve cargo flow.
- Recent Achievements: RVNL emerged as the lowest bidder (L1) for a major traction substation project worth ₹137.16 crore, to be completed in 24 months.
- Q2FY25 Results: RVNL saw a slight dip in revenue, reporting ₹4,869.2 crore, with net profit at ₹302.5 crore, a decline of 18.26% YoY.
