Hemant Sikka to take over leadership from Ram Swaminathan, marking a new growth phase for Mahindra Logistics.
Mahindra Logistics (MLL) announced the appointment of Hemant Sikka as Additional Director and MD & CEO Designate, effective 22nd April 2025. He will formally assume the role of MD & CEO from 5th May 2025, succeeding Ram Swaminathan, who is stepping down to pursue other professional interests.
Under Ram’s leadership since 2019, MLL doubled its revenues, expanded into cross-border, express, and last-mile segments, and strengthened its nationwide presence and sustainability initiatives. Ram’s tenure will officially conclude on 20th July 2025.
Hemant Sikka, currently President of Mahindra’s Farm Equipment Sector (FES), has been instrumental in growing FES’s revenue by over 60% and increasing profits significantly. With over 25 years at Mahindra and a strong background in manufacturing, procurement, and global business leadership, Hemant is poised to drive MLL’s next phase of expansion.
