After acquiring Hong Kong based LF Logistics, Maersk is planning to double its warehousing business in India. Hoping to transform into a 360 degree logistics solutions provider with blooming business across the continents. “Maersk, including LF Logistics will have a total of 19 warehouses with a total footprint of 2.68 million sq.ft. in India by the end of 2022”, said Ryan Best, Maersk’s Regional Head of Logistics & Services for West Central Asia.
As per Best, Maersk will expand to reach more than 5 million sq.ft. space in India by the end of 2023, adding 14 more states of the country in its list.
Joining hands with LF Logistics in India have given an opportunity for Maersk to enhance its B2C warehousing feat by leveraging world class capabilities.
Maersk has been around in India for around 20 years. It provides services across 15 of India’s main ports, 45 island acceptance depots and 25 sales offices.
