The Northeast is also making its mark, with Assam’s Burmese grapes reaching Dubai and fresh jackfruit from Tripura exported to Germany. Nagaland’s Raja Mircha, one of the world’s hottest chillies, was sent to London. Assam’s iron-rich red rice was shipped to the USA, while GI-tagged Vazhakulam pineapples from Kerala found buyers in Dubai and Sharjah.
