MoU fosters collaboration on global trade training, research, and industry exposure for students and professionals.

The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with APEC – Antwerp/Flanders Port Training Center, Belgium, to strengthen academic and industry ties in trade, logistics, and supply chain management.
The agreement focuses on faculty and student exchanges, joint research on port management, and specialised training programs. It will also facilitate knowledge-sharing in digital trade, e-governance, and emerging business technologies. Minister of State for Commerce & Industry, Shri Jitin Prasada, highlighted the MoU’s role in equipping future business leaders with global trade expertise.
Belgian officials praised the initiative, emphasising Antwerp’s role as a gateway to Europe. Commerce Secretary Sunil Barthwal reaffirmed India’s commitment to international trade competitiveness.
