Musashi Auto Parts India has signed a Letter of Intent with Bhago Mobility Solutions to supply electric powertrain systems for the fixed-battery variant of the Bhago Bhim three-wheeler platform.

Musashi Auto Parts India Private Limited has signed a Letter of Intent with Bhago Mobility Solutions Private Limited for the supply of electric three-wheeler axles for the fixed-battery variant of Bhago Mobility’s upcoming three-wheeler passenger vehicle platform, Bhago Bhim. Under the partnership, Musashi will supply three-wheeler e-Axles manufactured at its Bengaluru plant, with production planned to commence in 2027. The collaboration supports the localisation of electric mobility technologies in India and reflects Musashi’s growing role as a three-wheeler electric powertrain system supplier serving original equipment manufacturers with locally manufactured and integrated solutions.
Naoya Nishimura, Chief Executive Officer of Musashi India and Africa Region, said electrification already accounted for more than 60 per cent of India’s three-wheeler retail sales in 2025, with the segment at the forefront of India’s transition to electric mobility, and that Musashi’s locally manufactured e-Axle solution was designed to support original equipment manufacturers in delivering efficient, reliable and scalable electric vehicles. Aditya Goyal, Founder and Managing Director of Bhago Mobility Solutions Private Limited, said the Bhago Bhim platform was being engineered to set a new benchmark for passenger three-wheelers in India in ride quality, safety and total cost of ownership for the driver-owner, with Musashi’s e-Axle at the heart of the vehicle. The Bhago Bhim platform is being developed on a connected, IoT-native architecture with integrated telematics designed to enable predictive diagnostics, proactive maintenance scheduling and remote software updates. The partners also intend to explore additional configurations including cargo and battery-swapping variants.
