Driver Logistics has opened an 80,000 sq. ft. mother hub warehouse in Visakhapatnam for ATC Tires, a Yokohama Group company.

Driver Logistics has launched operations at an 80,000 sq. ft. mother hub warehouse in Visakhapatnam for ATC Tires AP Pvt. Ltd., a Yokohama Group company. The facility will store and distribute Yokohama passenger car tyres and ALLIANCE, GALAXY and PRIMEX brands of off-highway tyres serving the agricultural, construction, industrial and forestry sectors.
The new facility strengthens Driver’s operations in Andhra Pradesh, establishing a mother hub along India’s eastern coastal trade corridor. Designed to streamline domestic supply chains and support export operations, the centre provides direct access to key industrial and manufacturing regions. The expansion reflects the rapid industrial growth across Visakhapatnam and Andhra Pradesh, driven by expanding infrastructure and maritime trade hubs, with the region continuing to attract major logistics investments and industrial players.
Prior to this expansion, Driver had been managing passenger car tyre distribution for Yokohama across eight facilities in Kerala, Karnataka, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh and Gujarat, supported by a partial-truckload (PTL) network delivering directly to dealers.
Rashad M, Chief Operating Officer at Driver, said ATC Tires and Yokohama India were key long-term partners for the company, and that the Vizag centre moved the collaboration beyond regional storage into mother hub operations for passenger car and off-highway tyres, covering factory-to-warehouse transport, inventory management and wider distribution.
Driver is looking to expand into in-plant logistics, offering integrated factory logistics solutions along with technology-enabled, track-and-trace transportation services to support customers across India.
