The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India has appointed logistics and industrial real estate veteran Anshul Singhal as Chairman of its Task Force on Warehousing.
The Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India has appointed Anshul Singhal as Chairman of the ASSOCHAM Task Force on Warehousing. Singhal also chairs ASSOCHAM’s National Council for Logistics and Warehousing. Across three prior platforms, Singhal has originated, built, managed and exited approximately Rs14,250 crore of real assets, delivering 52 million square feet including 20 industrial and warehousing parks. He was previously Committee Chair at CII’s Warehousing National Network and is a member of YPO, RICS and the GRI Club.
The newly-constituted Task Force will deliberate on key challenges and emerging opportunities in the warehousing sector, examining issues relating to modern warehousing infrastructure, technology adoption, efficient storage and distribution, integrated logistics and supply chain, standards, sustainability and value-added services. The Task Force aims to recommend policy and regulatory measures and facilitate greater industry-government engagement. Singhal said India’s warehousing sector was entering a phase where scale must be matched by efficiency, resilience and technology, and that the Task Force’s priority was to turn conversations into actionable measures that strengthen India’s warehousing ecosystem and accelerate its next phase of growth.
