Adani Group plans major expansion across power, logistics, healthcare and data centres in West Bengal.

India’s Adani Group will invest 1 trillion rupees ($10.43 billion) in West Bengal by 2035, according to Chairman Gautam Adani. The investment will expand the conglomerate’s presence across sectors including power generation, logistics and data centres, as well as roads, bridges and ropeways across the eastern state.
The announcement reflects the ports-to-power group’s broader strategy of diversifying beyond its core infrastructure operations into areas such as data centres, healthcare and clean energy, alongside its existing ports, logistics and power businesses.
Speaking at the foundation stone-laying ceremony for a 2,000-bed hospital in the New Town area near Kolkata, Adani said the group would invest 40 billion rupees in the hospital, a medical college and a research facility. The healthcare project is expected to create more than 10,000 jobs across the state.
