DHL supports Formula E Season 11 with innovative transport for GEN3 Evo cars and a focus on sustainable logistics solutions.
As the Official Founding and Logistics Partner of Formula E, DHL is delivering the 11th ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, featuring the debut of GEN3 Evo race cars. These cutting-edge vehicles, which accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just 1.82 seconds, represent a 30 percent speed boost over Formula 1 cars.
DHL employs specially designed crates to securely transport the GEN3 Evo cars and 400 metric tons of essential freight per race, including batteries and hospitality materials. With multimodal transport solutions leveraging sustainable fuels, Formula E reduces GHG emissions by up to 80 percent.
DHL’s new “Positive Power” campaign celebrates the sport’s innovation and fan engagement. The logistics leader has also set ambitious sustainability goals, including achieving net-zero emissions by 2050. Formula E kicks off December 7, 2024, in São Paulo, followed by races in global cities like Tokyo and Miami.
