DHL Express, the logistics company, will raise the price of parcel delivery in India by an average of 7.9per cent beginning January 1, 2023.
According to DHL Express, prices are modified annually to account for inflation, currency fluctuations, and administrative costs associated with regulatory and security procedures.
According to the company, the current year has been difficult so far, with a volatile financial climate affecting global trade.
“We are able to invest in our infrastructure and technology with the annual price adjustment, ensuring resilient, sustainable, and world-class client solutions.” It includes cutting-edge aircraft and vehicles, as well as the expansion of our hubs and gateways to meet rising customer demand,” said R.S Subramanian, SVP South Asia, DHL Express.
In order to achieve net zero emissions logistics by 2050, the DHL Group intends to invest in sustainable aircraft fuel and electric vehicles.
Price modifications may vary depending on local conditions and will apply to all consumers where contracts allow, according to the business. A limited number of optional services and tariffs will also be altered, according to the business.
DHL is a part of the Deutsche Post DHL Group that provides logistical services ranging from national and international parcel delivery to e-commerce shipping, international express, road, air, and ocean transport, and industrial supply chain management.
