Aditya Mangla named CEO of Eternal’s food delivery arm, succeeding Rakesh Ranjan from July 6, 2025.

Eternal, formerly Zomato, has appointed Aditya Mangla as the new Chief Executive Officer of its food ordering and delivery division, replacing Rakesh Ranjan, whose tenure concludes on 6 July 2025, per regulatory filings.
Deepinder Goyal, founder of Eternal, described the appointment as a signal of evolving leadership needed in a complex and fast-paced landscape. Goyal said Mangla exemplifies leaders who can take bold decisions, adapt when necessary, and embrace constructive challenge.
Mangla, currently Head of Product for food ordering and delivery, joined the company in March 2021. He has led key functions including supply and customer experience, focusing on optimising restaurant partnerships and enhancing user satisfaction. His background spans product and marketing roles at startups and tech firms such as Woo, WheelsEye, HCL Technologies, and Bloomberg.
Goyal praised Mangla’s humility, systems thinking, and readiness to speak up. “He’s not perfect… but he has a good heart,” Goyal stated. The transition comes amid intensified competition and shifting consumer demands in the food delivery sector.
