Macrotech Developers acquires 45-acre Sohna land for logistics park, investing ₹110 crore.
Mumbai-based Macrotech Developers, operating under the Lodha brand, has acquired a 45-acre land parcel in Sohna, Gurugram, for approximately ₹110 crore. The move marks the company’s strategic entry into the Delhi-NCR market to develop an industrial and logistics park.
On November 29, the company announced its acquisition of Janus Logistics and Industrial Parks (JLIPPL) for ₹48 crore, making it a wholly-owned subsidiary. Established in December 2022, JLIPPL focuses on warehousing and logistics asset development.
Macrotech’s foray into Delhi-NCR aligns with its broader strategy to expand annuity income streams under the Lodha Industrial and Logistics Park (LILP) brand. In its latest investor presentation, the company outlined plans to create rent-yielding assets, targeting ₹1,500 crore in annual rental income by FY 2030-31.
This acquisition strengthens Macrotech’s footprint in the logistics sector, a pivotal element of its diversified portfolio, which also includes office spaces, malls, and high-street retail developments.
