Stefan Gumuseli to lead Air France–KLM’s India-Middle East operations from Dubai, effective August 1, 2024.
Air France-KLM has appointed Stefan Gumuseli as the new General Manager for the India-Middle East region, starting from August 1, 2024. Based in Dubai, UAE, Gumuseli will manage the passenger business across India, UAE, Saudi Arabia, Lebanon, Egypt, and additional offline countries. Claude Sarre will continue as Country Manager for India and the Sub-Continent, ensuring steady leadership in this vital market.
Gumuseli’s responsibilities include enhancing Air France-KLM’s regional presence, improving customer relations, promoting sustainability, and maintaining the company’s appeal as a workplace. With over 20 years at KLM Royal Dutch Airlines, he brings extensive experience in commercial, sales, and operational roles across various global markets, including Georgia, Kazakhstan, and Nigeria. His tenure includes serving as Director-Global Corporate Sales and General Manager in the Mediterranean, Germany, and the Mid Americas.
