The 8th Commercial Vehicle Forum concluded in Pune, fostering industry growth and innovation.
The 8th edition of the Commercial Vehicle Forum (CVF) took place on June 4, 2024, at J.W Marriott, Pune. The event, which attracted industry leaders, policymakers, and stakeholders, aimed to shape the future of India’s commercial vehicle, off-highway, and road transport sectors.
Chaired by Satyakam Arya, MD & CEO of Daimler India Commercial Vehicles, the forum featured over 60 speakers, 500 attendees, and 30 exhibitors. Dr. T. Surya Kiran, Executive Director of ASRTU, served as the Chief Guest, adding his expertise to the event.
Key sessions included discussions on the future of the commercial vehicle industry, off-highway market trends, digital transformation, and the rise of electric and alternative fuel vehicles. A notable highlight was the introduction of the CV Tech Synergy Initiative by Daimler Truck Innovation Center India, which showcased innovative ideas in ECU software architecture.
The forum also celebrated the contributions of women in logistics and transportation, emphasising inclusivity and diversity. The success of CVF 2024 can be attributed to the active participation of attendees and speakers, fostering a collaborative environment for industry growth.
The next edition of the Commercial Vehicle Forum is scheduled for May 2025 in Pune, promising even greater participation and engagement.
