Teleport secures exclusive commercial rights for Vietjet Air Cargo’s New Delhi – Ho Chi Minh City route, marking a deeper partnership.
Teleport has obtained exclusive commercial rights to manage Vietjet Air Cargo’s belly space for the New Delhi – Ho Chi Minh City route. Leveraging its existing capabilities honed from managing cargo for six airlines under AirAsia since 2018, Teleport aims to enhance the efficiency of cargo management through technology.
This agreement signifies a strengthened collaboration between Vietjet Air Cargo and Teleport, aimed at meeting the escalating air cargo demands in Southeast Asia. The partnership, initiated with a memorandum of understanding in November 2023, seeks to expand both networks, integrating Teleport’s Southeast Asia air logistics network with Vietjet’s Asia Pacific flight network.
Nelson Wu, Managing Director of Vietjet Air Cargo, emphasises the strategic alignment of both entities’ hubs and networks, foreseeing mutual benefits in synergising cargo operations and e-commerce logistics. Pete Chareonwongsak, CEO of Teleport, underscores the significance of this partnership, highlighting Teleport’s success in optimising low-cost airlines’ cargo operations through technology-driven solutions.
With Vietjet Air Cargo’s Delhi-Ho Chi Minh City sector operating four times weekly, extended connections across both networks offer enhanced access to key cargo destinations such as Melbourne, Sydney, and Auckland.
