SkyDrive, a prominent Japanese eVTOL aircraft manufacturer, has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with TiHAN Foundation at the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad (IITH). Focused on advancing unmanned drone technology, the collaboration aims to expand India’s drone market.
With a vision to lead the mobility revolution, SkyDrive specialises in accessible eVTOL aircraft for passenger transport and heavy-lift drones for cargo. Partnering with TiHAN, India’s pioneering autonomous navigation testbed facility at IITH, SkyDrive targets the development of heavy-lift drones to address challenges in India’s land-based logistics.
