On April 17, 2025, Union MSME Minister Shri Jitan Ram Manjhi visited the Central Tool Room & Training Centre (CTTC) and the Pharmaceutical Cluster in Bhubaneswar, Odisha. The visit reaffirmed the Ministry’s commitment to strengthening MSMEs through advanced technology, infrastructure, and skill development.
CTTC, considered the top-performing Technology Centre under the Ministry of MSME, supports high-end manufacturing for national missions such as Chandrayaan-3, LCA-Tejas, and Gaganyaan. It caters to esteemed clients like ISRO, DRDO, ADA, and Tata Motors, playing a crucial role in building indigenous capabilities. Shri Manjhi interacted with trainees and commended the innovation and dedication displayed by the youth.
The Minister also visited the Common Facility Centre (CFC) at the Pharmaceutical Cluster in Mancheswar Industrial Estate, developed under the MSE-CDP scheme. Operated by the Utkal Pharmaceutical Manufacturers Association (UPMA), the CFC enhances testing, quality control, regulatory compliance, and training support for MSMEs in the region.
