A SAR 200 million logistics park is set to rise at King Abdulaziz Port, boosting efficiency and service standards.

The Saudi Ports Authority (Mawani) has entered into an agreement with Sultan Logistics to develop a logistics park at King Abdulaziz Port in Dammam, backed by an investment of up to SAR 200 million. Spanning 197,000 square meters, the facility is designed to enhance the port’s operational capacity, improve service delivery, and raise its competitive edge.
The logistics park will include 35,000 square meters of warehousing, administrative offices, and dedicated areas for the storage and maintenance of both dry and refrigerated containers. A re-export zone is also planned, aimed at strengthening commercial operations and increasing supply chain efficiency.
This initiative is part of Mawani’s broader strategy aligned with Saudi Arabia’s National Transport and Logistics Strategy and Vision 2030. It aims to position the Kingdom as a global logistics hub while increasing private sector engagement and fostering economic diversification.
In 2024 alone, Mawani launched eight logistics parks across the Kingdom, attracting nearly SAR 2.9 billion in private investment, including Maersk’s SAR 1.3 billion hub at Jeddah Islamic Port.
