World Sailing, the global authority governing sailing, has forged a significant alliance with Kuehne+Nagel, designating the latter as its Global Logistics Partner in a three-year agreement. This partnership extends Kuehne+Nagel’s services as the preferred logistics provider for World Sailing’s Member National Authorities (MNAs) and all sanctioned events.
Leveraging its extensive global network and logistical expertise, Kuehne+Nagel will manage the transportation of sailing equipment, boats, and essential resources. Moreover, the partnership underscores a commitment to sustainability, as Kuehne+Nagel will facilitate visibility and comprehensive carbon emissions reporting through the myKN platform, aligning with World Sailing’s Sustainability Agenda 2030 objectives.
David Graham, CEO of World Sailing, expressed enthusiasm, highlighting the partnership’s potential to enhance logistical efficiency while promoting sustainability in sailing events. Wolfgang Frässle, Vice President of Event Logistics at Kuehne+Nagel, echoed this sentiment, emphasising their dedication to setting new standards for sustainable event logistics.
