Commerce Minister invites Israeli investments, highlights India’s growth
India and Israel are united in their fight against terrorism, with both nations’ Prime Ministers working towards its eradication, said Commerce and Industry Minister Shri Piyush Goyal at the India Israel Business Forum in New Delhi.
Addressing the event organised by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Shri Goyal emphasised India’s macroeconomic stability and robust infrastructure growth. He highlighted India’s resilience in navigating global crises, including the pandemic and geopolitical tensions.
Outlining India’s strategic advantages, Goyal introduced the ‘10 Ds’—Democracy, Demographic Dividend, Digitalisation, Decarbonisation, Determination, Dependability, Decisive Leadership, Diversity, Development, and Demand. He underscored India’s strong judiciary, skilled workforce, and growing economy as key factors attracting foreign investment.
Goyal positioned India as a dependable partner for Israel, urging increased collaboration across sectors such as technology and manufacturing. He reaffirmed India’s commitment to fostering economic cooperation, emphasizing that Israel’s expertise aligns well with India’s expanding market and investment potential.
