IAG Cargo enhances air cargo connectivity between Dublin and North America, offering direct routes.
IAG Cargo, through Aer Lingus, has inaugurated a new route between Dublin (DUB) and Denver (DEN), marking the first time air cargo belly capacity is available on this route. Starting May 17, customers can utilise the Airbus A330-200 aircraft four times a week for transporting goods directly between DUB and DEN.
Additionally, there will be a significant boost in air cargo capacity between Dublin and Toronto (YYZ) with the introduction of a widebody Airbus A330-200 operating four times a week. This expansion supports IAG Cargo’s Dublin hub as a gateway to North America, crucial for facilitating the movement of pharmaceutical products, which constitute Ireland’s largest export.
Camilo Garcia Cervera, Chief Sales and Marketing Officer at IAG Cargo, emphasised the importance of these additional routes in connecting Ireland and the US, leveraging Ireland’s strategic location and business-friendly environment to serve as a key hub for the pharmaceutical industry and providing local businesses with vital global market connections.
