Hong Kong Air Cargo has commenced dedicated freighter operations from Navi Mumbai International Airport, becoming the first international carrier to operate from the new airport.

Hong Kong Air Cargo has achieved a landmark milestone by commencing dedicated freighter operations from Navi Mumbai International Airport on August 16, 2026, becoming the first international carrier to operate from Mumbai’s new airport. The milestone was made possible through commercial coordination, operational readiness and regulatory efforts led by Aeroprime Group, Hong Kong Air Cargo’s Cargo General Sales and Service Agent in Mumbai, in close collaboration with the Hong Kong Air Cargo team, Navi Mumbai International Airport and relevant regulatory stakeholders. The successful launch positions Navi Mumbai International Airport as an emerging gateway for international air cargo and strengthens Hong Kong Air Cargo’s presence in India’s growing aviation and logistics market.
Abhishek Goyal, Executive Director of Aeroprime Group, said the achievement of being the first General Sales Agent globally to establish a first flight out of Navi Mumbai International Airport was a significant milestone and a strong testament to Aeroprime’s commitment to its airline partners.
