Uzbekistan’s Centrum Air has launched direct Hyderabad-Tashkent services, bringing its total India operations to seven weekly flights from Delhi and Hyderabad.
Centrum Air, Uzbekistan’s rapidly expanding airline, has launched its Hyderabad-Tashkent service, celebrated at an exclusive launch and networking evening at The Leela, Hyderabad. The event was attended by the Ambassador of Uzbekistan, H.E. Dr. Sardor Mirzayusupovich Rustambaev, senior management of Centrum Air, representatives of the Uzbekistan Tourism Committee, Aeroprime Group and members of Hyderabad’s travel trade community. The new service provides travellers from Hyderabad, Telangana and South India with direct access to Tashkent and onward travel opportunities across Uzbekistan, while creating greater opportunities for tourism, business and trade between the two markets.
With the launch of the Hyderabad service, Centrum Air now operates seven weekly flights from India, comprising five from Delhi and two from Hyderabad, achieved in less than a year of entering the Indian market. Abhishek Goyal, Executive Director and Chief Executive Officer of Aeroprime Group, Centrum Air’s exclusive General Sales Agent in India, said the rapid expansion reflected the airline’s strong confidence in the Indian market and the growing demand for connectivity between India and Central Asia. Adil Mirza, Head of Agents Division at Centrum Air, said Hyderabad was a dynamic and strategically important market with strong potential for both business and leisure travel, and that the airline looked forward to building strong relationships with the travel trade and its partners in India as it continued to expand its presence in the country.
