GEODIS and L-Acoustics launch their first Asia Pacific distribution centre in Singapore.
GEODIS, and L-Acoustics have inaugurated their new regional distribution centre in Singapore. This centre marks the first distribution hub for L-Acoustics in the Asia Pacific region. Tim Zhou, CEO of APAC at L-Acoustics, emphasised, “Our mission is to strengthen our ties with clients, creating a hub from which we can provide ideal support. The new warehouse will enable elevated customer service and faster delivery for their important projects.
Previously, all L-Acoustics solutions, manufactured in Europe, were shipped from France to customers in the Asia Pacific. The new Singapore facility aims to reduce delivery times and streamline the supply chain, enhancing support for regional clients. L-Acoustics and GEODIS have collaborated since 2018, with GEODIS managing the distribution of L-Acoustics’ products in France and Europe, providing comprehensive logistics solutions including freight and customs management.

The decision to establish the distribution centre in Singapore was influenced by GEODIS’s expertise in supply chain management and success in setting up bonded warehouses. The Singapore centre is a bonded, zero-GST facility with licensed storage, robust security, skilled personnel, and operations compliant with local customs regulations.
