EXG completes critical shipment for Nuclear Power Plant expansion in southern India.
Express Global Logistics (EXG), a member of the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) in India, has successfully transported Power Plant Equipment from China to southern India as part of a Nuclear Power Plant’s expansion. The operation included Break Bulk ocean transport from Lushun Port, China, to Tuticorin Port, India, followed by a comprehensive logistics process.
After reaching India, EXG managed import customs clearance, port handling, inter-carting, and the road transportation of the equipment to the designated site. The project cargo, totaling 3708 freight tons and comprising 36 pieces, was delivered in just 21 days. The final 250 km of the journey from Tuticorin Port to the job site was completed using heavy-duty and low-bed multi-axle trailers.
This successful operation highlights EXG’s capability in executing complex, time-sensitive logistics projects, reinforcing its standing as a leader in the Indian logistics sector.
