Çelebi India soars high as it secures the prestigious “Best Sustainability Champion – Service Provider Award” at the esteemed Wings India Awards 2024.
The Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) bestowed this accolade upon Çelebi India for its remarkable contributions to Indian civil aviation, specifically for prioritising sustainability across its operations.
The award ceremony, graced by the Honourable Minister of Civil Aviation, Jyotiraditya Scindia, witnessed the triumphant Çelebi India team—Kamesh Peri, Tauseef Khan, and Andy Dias—receiving the honour.
Çelebi India’s commitment to sustainability stands out through initiatives like 100 percent electric tarmac coaches, electric ground equipment, Solar Powered Cargo Terminal facility, Taxi-bot, paperless transactions, and bridge-mounted equipment services. These eco-conscious practices position Çelebi India as a trailblazer in sustainable ground handling services, aligning with global efforts for carbon neutrality.
