Customs brokers must now register online in order to participate in the “paperless” Customs system, according to the Central Board of Indirect Taxes and Customs (CBIC).
All customs zones are required to register all customs brokers on the CBIC’s newly developed Customs Brokers Licence Management System (CBLMS) by October 31. The management of customs brokers will entirely move online with the introduction of CBLMS.
