The partnership supports the government’s Apna Ghar initiative, improving rest and safety facilities for drivers on India’s highways.

TrucksUp, the AI-based logistics aggregator platform, has partnered with Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) to support Apna Ghar, a mandatory Government of India welfare scheme designed to provide truck drivers with access to clean rest areas, hygienic washrooms, drinking water, and basic comfort facilities at identified highway fuel stations.
Through the partnership, TrucksUp will increase awareness of the Apna Ghar scheme among truck drivers and owners on its platform. The first facility under the initiative is operational at Baghola, Haryana, on the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway in Gurugram, with plans to expand to more cities and highway routes across India.
Sarthak Elwadhi, Co-founder of TrucksUp, said that truck drivers are the backbone of India’s logistics system and that access to clean and safe facilities helps reduce fatigue, improves morale, and contributes to safer roads and a stronger logistics ecosystem. TrucksUp’s AI-driven platform connects truck owners and shippers to improve load utilisation, reduce running costs, and improve profitability across the logistics value chain.
