Exponent has launched five three-wheeler EVs with leading OEMs, including Montra Electric and Kinetic Green, to date.

Bengaluru-based Exponent Energy announced the inauguration of its first Exponent Sales Point (ESP) store in Laggere. The building is designed to serve as a one-stop shop for the company’s whole line of three-wheelers with Exponent capabilities. Significantly, the store will also provide conversion services to convert existing passenger three-wheelers currently running on CNG or LPG to become electric vehicles.
Drivers may find Exponent-enabled cars, experience 15-minute fast charging, understand the refit process, and even take test drives at this straightforward and easy-to-use location. Additionally, owners can pick up their EV retrofits within a day of dropping off their CNG or LPG vehicles.
In conjunction with top OEMs, including Kinetic Green, Montra Electric (the Murugappa Group), and others, Exponent has so far introduced five three-wheelers. The store allows customers to browse and buy with simple financing options and less paperwork by bringing all Exponent-enabled devices under one roof. Every automobile comes with a five-year warranty or 3,000 charging cycles. The company aims to make the switch to electric vehicles simple and convenient with 0–100% 15-minute fast charging and access to Exponent’s more than 70 charging stations across Bengaluru.
Reflecting on this development, Ayush Bhargava, Head of Business at Exponent Energy, commented, “This initial Energy Station Point (ESP) outlet offers drivers a direct opportunity to experience the Exponent ecosystem, allowing them to look over our selection of enabled vehicles and assess the upgrade potential for their current models. By delivering convenience, choice, and clear information in a single spot, this provides a unique purchasing experience for vehicle operators. Through our operations, we are laying the groundwork for a quicker and easier transition to electric vehicles, and we intend to quickly expand this model to more cities. Once drivers understand the convenience of transitioning to EVs and the lower operational expenses, the transition becomes unavoidable.”
With its recently created retrofit technology, Exponent Oto, which can convert any CNG or LPG car into an electric vehicle in a single day, Exponent Energy also entered the EV refit market in November 2025. With 0 percent down payment, flexible EMIs, and an assured buyback after three years, Exponent makes the shift to electric simple. Even after deducting charges and EMI expenditures, Exponent Oto enables drivers to save up to ₹5,000 each month.
Founded in 2020 by former Ather executives Arun Vinayak and Sanjay Byalal, the business has invented the battery pack (e^pack), charging station (e^pump), and connector (e^plug). All of these developments, which are based on inexpensive Li-ion cell chemistry, allow for a 15-minute rapid charging time and set a new industry standard with a 3,000-cycle life warranty for EVs.
Since its establishment, the company has made great strides, and there are currently more than 2,500 Exponent-powered EVs on Indian roads. It has installed more than 150 charging stations, registered over one million quick charging sessions, and accumulated over 50 million km travelled. Exponent has successfully expanded its operations to four new cities in just two years, unlocking scalability in the Indian EV market.
