Yashpal Singh Tomar has officially commenced his tenure as the Director (Network Planning and Marketing- NPM) at RailTel Corporation of India Limited (RCIL), a public sector undertaking under the Ministry of Railways. Tomar, a 1991 batch alumnus of the Indian Railway Service of Signal Engineers (IRSSE) and an IIT graduate, brings a wealth of experience to his new role. Previously, he served as the Divisional Railway Manager (DRM) for the Palakkad Division of the Southern Railway Zone.
Having previously worked at RailTel’s Secunderabad Regional office as Group General Manager, Tomar now returns for a second stint. Expressing his gratitude, Tomar stated, “I am honored to assume the responsibility of Director/NPM in this PSU. RailTel has positioned itself to take advantage of India’s ambitious digital transformation story.” He emphasized the company’s commitment to core areas, exploring new business opportunities, and focusing on future-ready network planning and marketing strategies.
