Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways, Nitin Gadkari, and Minister of State, V K Singh, are set to visit Munnar for the inauguration of two significant infrastructure projects. The highlight of the event will be the unveiling of the 43-kilometer-long Munnar-Bodimettu highway, a five-year project.
Additionally, Gadkari will inaugurate the new Cheruthoni bridge on the Adimaly-Kumily road (NH 185), constructed at a cost of Rs 17 crore. Several esteemed dignitaries, including Chief Minister Pinaryi Vijayan, Minister of State for External Affairs V Muraleedharan, PWD Minister P A Mohamed Riyas, Water Resources Minister Roshy Augustine, and MLAs, will be in attendance. The scheduled time for Gadkari’s arrival in Munnar is 2 pm.
