SF Airlines launches weekly cargo freighter service at Bengaluru on March 6, 2025.

SF Airlines initiated operations at Bengaluru’s airport on March 6, 2025, with the arrival of a B767-300 freighter. The launch marks a pivotal step as the carrier introduces a weekly route connecting EHU and Bengaluru, significantly expanding its cargo network. 

In a collaborative effort, WFS Bengaluru—part of the SATS Group—welcomed the new freighter with a modest ceremony upon landing. Both import and export cargo were efficiently handled during the inaugural flight, highlighting the commitment to robust logistical support. 

This strategic move is designed to boost freight capacity in Bengaluru, enhance regional connectivity, and strengthen market reach. The new service is projected to drive increased import volumes and foster economic growth by benefiting local businesses. Additionally, the collaboration between SF Airlines and WFS at Bengaluru adds to their broader network partnership, paving the way for future expansions and further investment in cargo infrastructure.
