Nitin Gadkari presented an extensive 20-page vision (Vachannama-manifesto) geared towards propelling the growth of Nagpur and its neighboring regions. The manifesto outlines plans to enhance infrastructure, agriculture, industry, healthcare, sports, culture, and tourism to spur job creation.
Gadkari’s vision encompasses a broad spectrum of development initiatives, including the expansion of Nagpur Metro, construction of flyovers, beautification schemes, and modernization of transportation services such as air and bus services. Additionally, he proposes solid waste management projects and the promotion of renewable energy.
The manifesto also outlines plans for the integration of sewage disposal systems, solar energy schemes, and the establishment of pharmaceutical and defense manufacturing hubs. Gadkari aims to bolster education and employment by attracting global universities, establishing research centers, and fostering IT parks and hubs, potentially generating over 50,000 jobs annually.
