Kuehne+Nagel has started building a new fulfilment centre in EZDubai, enhancing Dubai’s logistics capabilities.
Kuehne+Nagel has initiated the construction of a cutting-edge fulfilment and distribution centre in EZDubai, Dubai South’s prominent e-commerce hub. Strategically located near Al Maktoum International Airport and connected to Jebel Ali Port via a bonded logistics corridor, the new facility promises to enhance logistics efficiency in the region.
The state-of-the-art centre, designed to meet LEED Silver standards, will encompass over 23,000 square metres and house approximately 45,000 pallet positions. It is expected to be fully operational by the second quarter of 2025, offering customers a wide range of value-added services.
Lee I’Ons, GCC+ Cluster Managing Director at Kuehne+Nagel, highlighted the company’s commitment to the UAE and Dubai’s growing economy. He noted that the new facility will simplify business operations for customers in Dubai and the wider region, leveraging the centre’s strategic location and connectivity.
Mohsen Ahmad, CEO of the logistics District, Dubai South, expressed enthusiasm for the project, emphasising its value to the logistics sector and Dubai’s status as a global logistics hub. Jonathan Emery, CEO at Aldar Development, affirmed their dedication to delivering top-tier facilities, reinforcing Dubai South’s position as a leading logistics hub in the UAE.
