Intermarine, thriving under SAL-Intermarine Group, broadens its horizons with the introduction of Intermarine Bulk Carriers.
Intermarine, a key player in liner services and project cargo, continues its success trajectory within the SAL-Intermarine Group by diversifying its offerings. Introducing Intermarine Bulk Carriers, the company expands its portfolio to include bulk shipping services alongside its existing specialised operations. With the acquisition of two additional F300 vessels, Intermarine’s fleet will now total 30 units, enhancing its capacity and capabilities.
The newly established Intermarine Bulk Carriers will oversee the commercial management of Harren Group’s six bulk carriers, incorporating a combined deadweight of 350,000 tons. This expansion enables Intermarine to provide a comprehensive range of services, combining multipurpose vessels (MPP) with ECO OHBS Handysize bulk tonnage. The management team, led by Dr. Martin Harren, Lars Rasmussen, Capt. Joachim Zeppenfeld, and Jan-Philipp Rauno, is poised to leverage synergies between MPP and bulk operations for enhanced market access and customer solutions.
Joachim Zeppenfeld highlights the introduction of two optimised second-hand F300 vessels, MV Industrial Ursula and MV Industrial Katharina, equipped with reliable cranes and robust engines, further strengthening Intermarine’s fleet. This development aligns with the SAL-Intermarine Group’s commitment to providing high-quality services and maximum flexibility to clients worldwide, ensuring a strong presence in heavy lift and MPP markets globally.
